very funny video. Hope we never have to be squished by mad robots.

That cracks me up, however, I am a little frightened by the glowing red LED on my DVD player and my phone. All this time I've assumed that it just meant that they were in standby. I never stopped to think that it might mean that by "standby" it means that they are merely standing by awaiting orders from Skynet.

I found this video extremely amusing. He's exactly right, why should we be worrying about fantasy apocalypses (zombies) when the robots are already here? I do wonder if sometime in the future, what will happen when humans back themselves into a corner when they have created technology that is smarter than they are...

This is a funny video. Its cool that a PHD in Robotics is explaining in simple terms how a robot works. He explains it simple enough so that it sticks. Ill remember some basics just in case I come across a rouge robot. Seems unlikely but then again anything is possible!

As did everyone else, I quite enjoyed this video. It was really silly to watch, but also interesting. I hadn't thought before about some of the points he brought up such as how large robots would require lighter, and therefore weaker, legs.
I'm not sure how likely I believe that robot takeover will begin the end. But I do enjoy exploring this idea because it has been around for so long, even before technology came along as far as it has now.

That was a very entertaining video. It was great that the video used a credible source (a Ph.D. in Robotics) for its info, even if it looked at a very hypothetical aspect of the topic. Based on the current state of robotics and its rate of technological progression, I won’t lose any sleep over the possibility of a “robopocalypse.” However, if one does occur, I’ll definitely be more prepared now that I’ve seen this video!

34 seconds in you get to see how well it can stand when someone tries to kick it over. This was 4 years ago by the way. So imagine what they can do now.
